For the first time in a while I was hanging out with my brother yesterday. After some random errands and a smidge of Halo I went to Jake's to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Imax theater.

After the feature, the six of us packed into this tiny two-door and headed towards Josten's. Naturally, I got the worst spot, and I assure you that my foot was undeniably asleep two minutes into the journey.

There was a skanky red-head... a weird cynical pseudo-smartass, a kid so fucked up on weed and beer he couldn't stand, or bend his knees (we called him Dave Chappelle), a couple of girls from Sammamish, whom we constantly made fun of for being from Sammamish, some scenesters/emo kids... whatever, and no one else really sticks out in my mind other than this chick who looked like

who was drunk as shit and planning on driving home.

Basically the shittiness of the party can be summed up in four simple statements:
1: There was no poker. 2: I did not drink. 3: 30 dollars of beer money bought us two 12 packs of Coor's Light. 4: I hated almost everybody there.

After meeting a bunch of people that really were not worth meeting; Jake, Karl and I had decided that we should just cash out our chips, so we took the remaining beer and left. Which we didn't put any money up on.

After driving back to Lauren's and hanging out for about half an hour, Jake, Mike and I walked down to my house, and called it a night.

Oh yea, it was weird because some random kid I went to elementary school with was at this party. His name is Cory. Before, he brought goat cheese to school. Now he wears tight jeans.




I guess I really need something new because something isn't working out right now. Maybe I should get some new people to hang out with... not that I'm going to throw away the old ones. Maybe I have to fix the "what the fuck" moments when I wake up every morning and see that its 9:30. Maybe its something else, because I have a suspicion that I can't sleep for very long simply because of how out of it I've felt for so long. Even when I'm happy there seems to be something wrong. Either way, I doubt I've been myself lately. If I reach an epiphany concerning this I'll elaborate later.
